‘Mixed-Other’ presents a diverse range of work taking in cultural meetings of visual traditions, languages, and ideologies. It communicates intensely human experiences of disjunction and conjunction, understanding and misunderstanding, displacement and belonging, fluctuations of ethnic identity, and notions of beauty. These 10 artists each present a body of work both deeply personal, and broadly relevant for the world within which we all live.
