This work was created as part of the Library of Lost Books (2013) a project using found, unwanted books.

The Library of Lost Books is a collection of old, discarded and damaged library books which were rescued from certain death-by-pulping… Each rescued book was sent to a selected UK artist to be re-made as a work of art. 

The books were exhibited together in Birmingham in September 2013 and went on to form a travelling exhibition around the UK.
